About Us

Located in Sainte Marie de Kent, we are the Shantz Family; Aaron, Shelley, Griffen and Clem. Over the past number of years, we have gradually worked our property into a working farm by learning homesteading skills such as food preservation, foraging, animal husbandry, alternative farming and sustainable woodlot management. We are advocates of food security which means sustainably providing quality food to people at an affordable price. Feeling strongly about being involved in our community, we are on the board of the National Farmers Union (NFU), we participate in a Farm to School Learning Circle and we grow fresh food for the Food Depot Alimentaire, a local non-profit that serves food banks, community kitchens and school programs across New Brunswick.
